Kowloon Toastmasters Club (KTMC), founded in 2000

Kowloon Toastmasters Club (KTMC) is an English-speaking club. Open to the public, it is part of the worldwide organization, Toastmasters International (https://www.toastmasters.org/) .

KTM has the mission to empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders.

KTM was founded in 2000 and has members from all walks of life. The variety makes it ideal for group learning and experience sharing. Our meeting place is conveniently located in HK Scout Centre, Jordan (Jordan MTR C2 / Austin MTR F). The size and set up of the venue makes it a perfect place for practising presentations in front of an audience size of 30 to 40.

Self-learning at One’s Own Pace

Members are provided with structured learning materials and practise at their own pace. Feedbacks are provided to members for skills enhancement. Experienced members are assigned as mentors to assist new members in their initial journey. From time to time, speaking workshops, experience sharing and joint meetings with other clubs are organized to broaden members’ horizons.

Regular meetings, various gatherings are organized

In additional to the regular meetings, various gatherings are organized to enrich members’ Toastmasters experience. Hiking, festival gatherings, and anniversary celebrations are well received and enjoyed by our members. Strong bonding among members is one of the distinguished features of KTMC.

KTMC members can also participate in regular meetings, speaking workshops, contests, team building activities, and annual conventions organized by the Toastmasters communities in Hong Kong and overseas. 

Over the years, KTMC members are frequent winners in speech contests and some of our members are holding leadership roles in the Toastmasters community in Hong Kong.
